Dr. Dean Nisbett

Dr. Dean Nisbett received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1981 from the University of Waterloo.  He has served as the Chairman of the Occupational Vision Plan formerly of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and now under the Canadian Association of Optometrists.  He is also a member of the Membership Services Committee for the Ontario Association of Optometrists.

Dr. Paul Padfield graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1983, and joined the Goderich and Clinton practices soon thereafter.  Dr. Padfield became active in the various committees of the College of Optometrists of Ontario becoming its president in 1995.  After serving in this capacity for fours years, he remains active in the College’s committees.

 

Dr. David Weaver

Dr. David Weaver graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1991, receiving his Honours Bachelor of Science degree as well as his Doctor of Optometry degree.  Dr. Weaver joined the practice soon after graduation, becoming a partner in 1993.  Dr. Weaver is a Clinical Supervisor in the University of Waterloo School of Optometry’s External Clinic Program.  Under this program up to three Optometry students per year rotate through our practice as part of their training and education.  

 

Dr. Simon Taylor

Dr. Taylor graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in April 2001.    Dr. Taylor joined the Huron Optometric Centres practice in September 2001.
